Zionist regime's last attempt to derail Vienna talks

Tehran, IRNA - As the talks in Vienna, Austria, to lift anti-Iran sanctions approach to its final days, Zionist regime's Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has met with Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi in a bid to get in the way of any potential agreement.

The Vienna talks have reached important and critical phase, when negotiators from Iran, the European Union and the P4+1 group (Britain, France, Russia, China plus Germany) have conducted more consultations with the aim of finalizing a draft text for future consensus.

Iran's top nuclear negotiator Ali Bagheri Kani accompanied with Iranian Foreign Ministry's Deputy for Economic Diplomacy Mehdi Safari held different meetings with heads of delegations from the European trio (Britain, Germany and France) in recent days.

The British top negotiator described recent discussion with the Iranian side as constructive, which can help reach the final point.

Bagheri Kani also met with Mikhail Ulyanov, head of Russian delegation in the Vienna talks, on Friday. Prior to the meeting, the Iranian top negotiator also held talks with Enrique Mora, the European Union's representative in the Vienna talks.

Friday night, Rafael Grossi traveled to Tehran aimed at holding discussions with Iranian authorities on technical cooperation between the IAEA and Iran.

The IAEA announced in its last report that the Islamic Republic has increased enrichment of uranium with 60% purity up to nearly two-fold.

Upon Grossi's arrival, spokesman for the Atomic Energy Agency Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi welcomed the international official.

Prior to the visit by IAEA director general, bureau of Zionist regime's prime minister announced that Bennett held talks with Grossi prior to his visit to Tehran in order to voice the regime's stance on the Vienna talks as well as Iran's open dossiers at the IAEA.

Zionist officials along with American firebrand authorities have labored hard to hinder any possible agreement between Iran and the P4+1 as well as return of the United States to the JCPOA, which will end up in lifting cruel sanctions on Iran.

It seems that achievements of Grossi's trip would affect decision-making in the Vienna talks particularly given the fact that Bennett's consultation with Grossi is one of the last opportunities for the regime to pursue psychological warfare against the nuclear negotiations.

The European negotiators have tried to propagate that the talks are coming to an end in order to put pressure on the Iranian delegation to give up their rational and rightful demands.
